PhD student in Rehabilitation Engineering
With a background education in computer science engineering, I am now turning my focus on the Interaction between Humans and Technology. The main topic of my research is non-visual human-computer interaction, including tactile and sound feedback, and their uses for blind and visually-impaired people, as well as their benefits for other users.
Having for focus the non-visual interaction opens perspectives both for the human interaction with technology (gestures, tactile and sound interaction), and for innovative uses of technology in itself.
I am part of two projects. They enable me to work both on mobile contexts (phone) and stationary platforms (computer at desk).
HIPP - An audio-haptic drawing application for school work
