Education
It is important that future civil engineers and industrial designers can consider people's different conditions and abilities in their coming professional roles. They will have the opportunity to contribute to future products, services and environments becoming accessible to as many people as possible. Knowledge of, and the ability to, familiarize oneself with different people's life situations will be important qualities to be able to contribute to society's strive towards inclusive diversity.
Certec's courses are heavily technology- and people-related. Rehabilitation engineering is based on people's needs, wishes and dreams, which can place high demands on technical solutions.
The educational offer consists of:
- program courses (see below) – for those who are studying at LTH
- degree projects in rehabilitation engineering and interaction design
- independent courses that are primarily aimed at those who work in LSS accommodations, activity centres, (re)habilitation, psychiatry, elderly care, schools, are next of kin or work as a personal assistant or others interested in these topics
- research education courses for those who are doctoral students
